On the Table Philly

On the Table Philly is a forum designed to elevate civic conversation, foster new relationships and create a unifying experience.

Over the last three years, On the Table Philly has brought thousands of socially and civic-minded individuals together, with about 3,000 participants in 2017, 5,000 in 2018 and close to 6,000 on Oct. 17, 2019.

These conversations can inspire new ways we can work together to make our communities stronger, safer and more dynamic.

Philadelphia Foundation has provided $50,000 to fund 50 projects selected for $1,000 “Activate” grants to transform ideas generated during the 2019 On the Table Philly conversations into tangible initiatives that will improve the Greater Philadelphia region. Read about the “Activate” grants.

Grants

Philadelphia Foundation has provided $50,000 to implement ideas to improve the region that were generated through the 2019 On the Table Philly conversations.

The projects will support a variety of topics – census participation, small ongoing conversations, working with schools on gun violence, helping college students destigmatize mental health challenges and more – all of which were inspired by On the Table Philly.
